This Privacy Policy explains how Trenddly (“Trenddly”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our pre-publish scoring product at trenddly.net and the app at app.trenddly.net(together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account data.When you sign in we collect your email address. Authentication is passwordless: we email you a one-time code to verify it's you.
- Google / YouTube data. If you connect your YouTube channel, we request the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonlyscope. With your authorization we read public and private channel information such as your channel profile, your videos, and their metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and performance figures) so we can score and analyze your content before you publish. - Content you submit. Topics, hooks, titles, thumbnails, and audio you provide to the scoring and transcription features.
- Technical data. Basic logs and usage data needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
How we use your information
- To provide pre-publish scoring of your topic, hook, title, and thumbnail.
- To read your YouTube channel and video data you authorize, so the scores reflect your actual content and channel context.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your Google user data for advertising.
Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)
Trenddly's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use the YouTube data we access to provide and improve the user-facing features described above, we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide those features or as required by law, and we do not use it for serving advertisements.
Third-party processors
We share data with a small set of service providers strictly to run the Service, under their own terms and security commitments:
- AI scoring & transcription. Content you submit for scoring or transcription (such as topics, titles, and audio) is processed by AI providers (e.g. Anthropic and Groq) to generate results.
- Email delivery. Login codes are sent through our email provider (Resend).
- Hosting & database. The Service is hosted on Fly.io with a managed PostgreSQL database.
How we store and protect your data
Your data is stored in our managed database. YouTube OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time, which revokes our access tokens. You may also revoke Trenddly's access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at tools@prodlabs.io and we will delete it within a reasonable period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at tools@prodlabs.io.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law.
